If you or someone you love are at risk of suicide, please call the Suicide Prevention LIFELINE at 800-273-8255 or take the person to the emergency room.
Suicide is one of the leading causes of death among Vermont and New Hampshire teens. The incidence of suicide in our country’s youth has more than tripled during the last three decades. As adults, we are watching our teens struggle with expressing themselves, battling the daily challenge of anxiety and being pulled away from us towards the dark island of depression. However, we continuously desire and try to help them.
